Artwork Questions

1. What kind of paper are the drawings on?

28lb Strathmore Writing Paper, 25% cotton Weave, Natural White or Bright White

2. Why do some of the drawings say The Metropolitan Museum of Art at the top?

These drawings are made on letterhead from the museum that was recycled after a rebranding in 2015. The drawings with The Met in red at the top left corner are the current letterhead.

3. Are the drawings on paper sold framed or unframed?

Unframed!

4. Can I buy a drawing framed?

Please contact us if you would like to purchase a drawing framed. We may be able to accommodate.

5. If I purchase a painting on canvas unframed, can I still hang it up?

Yes! The frame is not necessary for display. The sides of the canvas are painted white and have staples but are not too unsightly to be displayed. The frame covers these sides and provides a more polished look.

6. Do you make or sell prints?

All works on the website are unique handmade paintings. I do not currently make or sell prints.

7. Are drawings and paintings not included in the “Shop” for sale?

The short answer is Yes! Some artworks in other sections have a price listed and you can email to purchase. Works that say “Collection of the Artist” and “Private Collection” are not for sale. Any other artwork you can email to inquire about price / purchase.

6. Dimensions and details

Please double check and compare measurements to confirm a piece will fit your space. All measurements are listed in inches. We have included both the measurements of the drawing or painting and the measurements once framed.
